• Risk Assessment- To provide a Duty of Care by protecting Anglers fishing at The Watch Water Reservoir as far as is Reasonably Practicable in the current ongoing Coronavirus Cavoid-19 pandemic.
  • This Risk Assessment maybe prone to change depending upon instructions or guidelines issued by; HM Government, Scottish parliament, Scottish Water or SANNA. 
  • Anglers should only travel to fish within their local authority area or 5 miles max into another authorities area.
  • All Anglers to provide their own hand sanitiser and or liquid soap and paper towels. 
  • Social Distancing is to be maintained at all times.
  • All Anglers are to purchase permits by phone, email, or website at least 48hrs prior to fishing.
  • Anglers fishing from the bank are to be aware and respectful of ground nesting birds.T
  • Travel to and from The Watch Water Fishery Contact and cross contamination between those travelling in the same vehicle Potential cross contamination.
  • Anglers to travel in separate vehicles unless from the same household.
  • If feeling unwell or running a high temperature do not travel or fish.               
  • All anglers arriving on site to wear disposable gloves and or wash their hands in liquid soap or anti-viral hand wash.
  • Always keep minimum of recommended social distancing. 
  • Park at least 2 metres from the next vehicle. .                           
  • Purchase tickets online before travelling
  • Display tickets on car dashboards
  • Club House and toilets will be kept locked.               
  • All boats to be beached until new restriction rules are provided.
  • Bank Angling Only
  • Always keep minimum distance of 2mtrs to comply with social distancing.
  • Do not be tempted to swap flies or equipment with other anglers
  • Keep a minimum distance of 15m between anglers on the bankside.
  • Wear Glasses or other eye protection.                 
  • Ensure you take your litter and food stuff home with you.                       
  • Do not take litter from the site which is not yours.           
  • Anglers should wash their hands in liquid soap or anti-viral hand wash before leaving.
